UNDER THE BLACK CEILING

We live in a time that is rich in resources, information and opportunities, yet conversation, openness and understanding still prove to be a challenge. This collection was inspired by stories of dramatic misunderstandings and shows both conservative, reserved characters, as well as ethereal figures. But looks can be deceiving! Practice empathy by accepting that the essence of personality is the opposite of a person’s looks!

The heavy woolen coats were made in a classical style, paying close attention to lines and careful finishes on details. The bodysuits were sewn from lycra mesh and organza fabric - difficult to work with, yet provide endless fascinating possibilities whilst searching for the right transparency, shadows and texture.
